Cholestosan

Cholestosan^® is a special formulation of Low Molecular Weight and Middle Molecular Weight Chitosan (deacetylation above 90%). Cholestosan helps to inhibit LDL Cholesterol (Bad Cholesterol) and boost HDL Cholesterol (Good Cholesterol). It works by binding bile acids to form a non-digestible blob, which is excreted out of the body as waste.

The liver has to use more of the circulating cholesterol to make bile acids for the digestion of fats in the intestine. This reduces the LDL Cholesterol in the body. As a result, the level of HDL Cholesterol in the body raises in proportion due to the reduction of LDL Cholesterol in the body.
